En ingles existe una frase que dice “Leaders are Readers” (Los Lideres son Lectores) y es bastante conocido que los mejores CEO’s del mundo leen aproximadamente entre 50 a 55 libros por año (casi 1 libro por semana). Esto suena rápido, pero un vistazo a Goodreads te mostrara que hay gente que logra leer hasta 200 libros por año.

También es bastante conocido que la gran mayoría de gente lee libros de ficción (Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, El Retrato de Dorian Grey, etc.) Sin embargo, aun dentro del mundo de los lectores, casi nadie lee libros prácticos para aprender habilidades.

Solamente con leer los mejores 3 libros sobre un tema en específico te posicionaría rápidamente como un “experto” en dicho tema (en comparación de gente normal que no lee), y si lees 5 a 10 libros sobre ese tema te puedes educar mucho más.

Además de que esta el beneficio que, al leer más, te vuelves mejor articulando en palabras tus pensamientos, aprendes a desarrollar un pensamiento mas profundo e individual sobre un tema y aprender a pensar y a hablar a un nivel tan detallado que muchos te pueden llegar a considerar un genio (aunque no lo seas). También puedes avanzar mucho más rápido en tu curva de aprendizaje si pones en practica lo aprendido.

Esta lista contiene varios libros recomendados para crear una educación solida a nivel universitario de países de primer mundo en varias áreas. Estará segmentada por temas y por niveles. Esta lista es una compilación de los libros que han leído y recomiendan varias personas que personalmente admiro.

Si llegas a leer toda esta lista muy probablemente saldrás como una persona altamente competente con un pensamiento altamente desarrollado, un “moustro” intimidante en el aspecto profesional y personal y de integrar este conocimiento a tu vida prácticamente hablando, muy pocas personas podrán competir contra ti.

Dicho esto, los mejores libros sobre temas específicos rara vez están traducidos al español. Por lo cual tratare de dejar aquí los libros que están en español, tratare de traducir los títulos al español pero si ves el título en ingles esta lista es porque probablemente no hay una traducción al español.

Nota 1:

Con el alza del internet varios libros se han vuelto audiolibros también, científicamente hablando, han descubierto que el cerebro procesa los libros y audiolibros de la misma manera, así que no importa el formato, si es más cómodo para ti escucharlos en audiolibros, entonces hazlo.

También cabe notar que los autores muchas veces agregaran información extra a los audiolibros, dando más notas sobre los temas que tocaron en el libro o agregando información que aprendieron después, se les olvido agregar o fue eliminada en edición, o simplemente le pondrán más emoción a la narración, en estos casos, pondré a la par del libro una nota diciendo si recomiendo mas el audiolibro que el libro en sí.

Conforme pase el tiempo iré agregando más títulos a esta lista si considero que son recomendados.
